Leadership styles and safety performance in high-risk industries: a systematic review

چکیده

The importance of leadership on safety has been well acknowledged and studied for many years in various high-risk industries. This paper aims at (1) synthesising the existing research by performing a systematic literature review to gain an overview relationship between styles performance industries with main focus health workplace (2) analysing comparing major results from reviewed studies. show that nine – transformational leadership, transactional leader–member exchange, authentic empowering ethical paternalistic charismatic passive have frequently used development validation theories as understanding influence towards climate, compliance participation contexts. However, blurred boundaries among constructs alongside inconsistency conceptualisation measurement hinder advancement leadership’s performance.
